Conditions & Information (Self
Drive)
Driver
Hirer or driver
must produce a valid Singapore Class 3 or international driving
licence and NRIC/Passport. Driving licence must have been held for at least
2 years. Minimum age is 23 years and maximum age is 65 years old.
Rates
Rental rates
quoted are in Singapore
currency and inclusive of GST. Rates include insurance coverage, vehicle
maintenance and unlimited mileage. The Hirer shall pay for petrol,parking
and ERP charges,and all other GST taxable charges in accordance to the GST
bill. Minimum charge is one-day and every addtional hour thereafter (excess
hour) is charged at one-fifth of the daily rate.
Insurance
Comprehensive
insurance is provided for the hired vehicle and against liability for
the death or bodily injury to third parties and for damage to property of
third parties. It does not cover loss or theft of vehicle accessories or
personal belongings.
Hirer's Liability / Collision Damage Reduction
The Hirer is
responsible for the stated Excess for loss or damage to the vehicle for
each and every accident during the period of rental. The Hirer's liability
may be reduced by payment of a Collision Damage Reduction (CDR) fee as
indicated below and the Non-Waiverable Excess (NWE) will apply
respectively.

Personal
Accident Insurance (PAI)
Personal
Accident Insurance is available at a fee of S$6 per day and covers up to a
total of S$100,000 in the event of death. (S$50,000 to the Hirer, S$50,000
in aggregate to the driver & 4 passengers & a maximum limit of
S$5,000 medical reimbursement).
Terms
of Payment
The estimated
rental charge for the period plus a deposit of S$500 is payable at the time
of taking delivery of the vehicle. Final adjustment will be made upon the
return of the vehicle and completion of rental. Major credit cards are
accepted. For any late payment, the Hirer shall be liable for the late
payment interest at the rate of 1.5% per month calculated on a daily
basis.
Extension
of Rental
The rental
office must be notified in advacne of any extension of the rental
period.Failure to notify may render the Hirer liable of driving the vehicle
without insurance.
Petrol
Each vehicle is
supplied with at least one-quarter tank of premium grade petrol. The Hirer
shall refill the petrol at the end of the rental period to the same petrol
level at the point when vehicle was checked out.
ERP
Charges / Parking & Traffic Fines
The Hirer is
responsible for all ERP & parking charges, traffic &
parking violations. It is the Hirer's responsibility to purchase cash
cards and parking coupons.
Delivery/Collection
Service
A minimum service fee of
$21 is chargeable for either delivery or collection of car during office
hours.
Cancellation
One days's
rental fee or S$107 (whichever is lower) will be charged for any
cancellation made with less than 24 hours notice.
- Hirer is to abide by the
full terms & conditions found in the Rental Agreement.
- Foreign driving license for
Work Permit holders and Permanent Residents is valid for the first 12
month stay in Singapore.Thereafter conversion to local driving license
is required.
